Every June in Rochester, Kent The Dickens Festival takes place. This is a celebration of the author, Charles Dickens, who resided in and around Kent for much of his life. The festival includes street performers, museum exhibits and at nearby Rochester Castle, a funfair and performance arenas. Many of those who attend do so in fancy dress, and this year that included the participants of the Grove History project. |
The Grove History Project
The Grove History Project provides young people in Gravesend with the opportunity to explore and learn about their community, both in the present and the past and through this gain understanding of their unique identities.
