The Museum of Kent Life by Ashlea ArmourWe went on a boat from the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone. It went right to the front of the museum. When we went inside there was loads of baby animals, like cows and pigs. I liked the baby sheep best. I wanted to take a lamb home but, Jeanette said no as the hostel doesn't allow pet sheep. There was people fighting dressed in armour and cooking food in medievil tents. I had a go on some stilts. It was really hard to keep my balance There was lots of buildings with different old fashioned furniture in them and one had a bomb shelter like it would have been in World war II. After the museum we had a look at a lock. This lets boats go up and down a bit like a lift. I would like to go there again. Review by Ashlea Armour aged 17yrs |
