The Grove History Project

The Grove History Project provides young people in Gravesend with the opportunity to explore and learn about their community, both in the present and the past and through this gain understanding of their unique identities.

"Understanding a bit more about the history of the place that I come from has kind of made me feel more like I belong."

Shell Grotto

After the trip to the shell grotto we relaxed by the sea until the sun went down. It was a long day with some very tired participants on the train journey home.
